COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A family is mourning the loss of their 7-year-old son after he fell to his death while they were hiking.
Colorado Springs police confirmed to FOX21 that a boy fell during a hike near Gold Camp Road and died.
A family friend confirmed his identity as 7-year-old Kaivion Eleby.
The circumstances of the fall have not yet been released.
Part of Gold Camp Road was shut down while police investigated the death.
