EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — Today is the last day to turn in your ballot for the 2017 municipal election. Keep reading for a breakdown of issues at stake, as well as information on where to turn in your completed ballot, get a new ballot, or register to vote.
El Paso County
El Paso County voters will be asked to weigh in on ballot measures related to the I-25 expansion, stormwater fees, mill levies, and other issues. Voters in Manitou Springs will vote for a mayor and three city council candidates. Voters in most El Paso County school districts will choose school district directors.

Pueblo County
Pueblo County voters will be electing three city council members, a board of water works member, and a civil service commissioner. Pueblo County School District 60 residents will also be electing a director-at-large. Voters will be asked to weigh in on ballot issues about the form of government in Pueblo, two sales tax increases in Pueblo, one funding the police department, a street repair enterprise in Pueblo, a tax allocation issue in Colorado City, an excise tax on marijuana in Colorado City, and a tax allocation issue in Pueblo West. Voters in the entire county of Pueblo will vote on the ballot issue 1A to increase sales tax to fund a new jail facility.
