COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — With Christmas less than two weeks away, you may want to start packing and shipping those holiday gifts if you haven’t already.
To make sure your gifts arrive under the tree in time – and not pay an arm and a leg – get your packages to the post office by Thursday, December 15. This is the last day to send a package via its basic ground service and expect it to arrive before Christmas day. First class mail needs to be sent by December 20, Priority Mail by December 21 and Express Service – or overnight – by December 23.
FedEx has a Friday, December 16 deadline for Standard Ground service. You can use their premium “Express Saver” service too which ends Tuesday, December 20.
For those of you choosing UPS you have until Monday, December 19 for 3-day select service.
If you’re a fan of Amazon, the deadline for free shipping with delivery before Christmas is Friday, December 16 while the deadline for free shipping if you’re part of the Prime family is Thursday, December 22.
