COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A woman has been arrested in connection with a fire that damaged a southeastern Colorado Springs mobile home in June.

The fire broke out around 10:45 p.m. June 6 in a home in the Canyon Ridge Mobile Home Park on Airport Road. Two people were in the home, but escaped without injuries.

Police and firefighters worked together to investigate the fire, which they considered suspicious. Thursday, police arrested 37-year-old Claudia Barajas of Fountain in connection with the fire.

Barajas is charged with domestic violence-related attempted first-degree murder and first-degree arson.
