A woman is facing multiple charges after she kicked out the back window of a police cruiser while being arrested early Friday morning, according to police.
Police said around 1:45 a.m., an officer pulled a car over on 30th Street near Garden of the Gods. The driver gave the officer a false name, so the officer detained her. While she was in the back of the cruiser, she kicked out the back driver’s side window, reached out to open the door, and got out, according to police. The officer told the suspect to get back in the car, but she refused. The officer then tased her and put her back in the car.
The suspect, Serrabi Rucker, is charged with traffic charges, obstruction, criminal impersonation, escape, and criminal mischief.
