A wanted fugitive used bedsheets and pillows to try to escape from his fourth-floor hotel room when officers came to arrest him Tuesday morning, according to police.
Police said around 2 a.m., they learned Glen Frost was at a hotel in the area of North Academy Boulevard and Interstate 25. Frost was wanted on multiple warrants, including possession of a weapon by a previous offender, felony menacing, and prohibited use of a weapon.
When officers went to Frost’s fourth-floor room, he refused to come out, according to police. He started tying bed sheets together, then tied them to the balcony and threw pillows on the ground in an attempt to escape.
Frost was arrested after a short standoff.
