Two arrested in southern Colorado Springs, police asking other victims to come forward

Police arrested two people on various charges in southern Colorado Springs Thursday morning, and now they’re asking anyone who may have been victimized by the suspects to come forward.

Police said the suspects were arrested around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the area of Nevada Avenue and Brookside Street. Doriun Thompson was arrested on charges of harassment, assault, and false imprisonment. Kyasha Tisdale was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence, kidnapping, menacing, assault, harassment, and false imprisonment. 

Police said Tisdale, who is also known as “Queen,” was on probation due to a 2018 case in which she was charged with attempted human trafficking of a child for sexual servitude, attempted pimping, and pandering. 

Police are now asking anyone who may have been victimized by Tisdale or Thompson to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call the Human Trafficking Tip Line at 719-444-7729.
