PUEBLO, Colo. — Three men were arrested Saturday morning after they were caught while burglarizing a Pueblo West home that police say had recently been the site of an illegal marijuana grow.

Authorities responded to a report of a burglary in progress just after 7:30 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of West Mangrum Street.

Police say deputies found two men walking around the side of the home carrying a large mirror.

Deputies apprehended the two suspects, identified as 23-year-old Mason Aragon and 32-year-old John Paul Wagner.

During the investigation, officials learned there were possibly other suspects inside the home. Upon entering, they found a man hiding in the basement. The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Ashton James, was taken into custody.

Police say they are still looking for a fourth suspect.

A truck found parked in the driveway belonged to one of the suspects and contained several power tools and sports equipment stolen from the home, according to authorities.

All three suspects were booked into the Pueblo County jail for first degree burglary, theft and possession of burglary tools.

The investigation is ongoing.
