Three arrested after police spot stolen car in front of Colorado Springs home

Three people were arrested after police spotted a stolen car in front of a southeastern Colorado Springs home Saturday morning. 

Police said the car was parked in front of a home on Mallard Drive, near the intersection of Highway 24 and South Circle Drive. Officers established surveillance and saw a man, later identified as Aaron Adamson, leaving the area. Police determined he was the suspect in the theft and arrested him.

While officers were investigating, another man, Adam Zwetzig, ran out of the home. Police caught him a short distance away and arrested him on outstanding warrants.

The third suspect, Nicholas Didio, barricaded himself inside the home, according to police. He surrendered a short time later and was arrested on outstanding warrants, according to police.
