A Teller County man is facing multiple charges after he supplied Woodland Park students with marijuana laced with meth, according to the sheriff’s office.
John Fifield Jr., 47, was arrested after deputies searched his home on Overlook Circle in Sedalia on Wednesday.
Deputies said the arrest was made after Woodland Park school resource officers learned several students had received marijuana laced with meth.
Fifield is facing two felony drug charges, along with charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, child abuse, and possession of a dangerous or illegal weapon.
This is the first arrest made by the Teller County Narcotics Team, which was created in September. The team is made up of officers from the Cripple Creek Police Department, Woodland Park Police Department, Teller County Sheriff’s Office, Drug Enforcement Administration, and FBI.
