A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured three people at the Citadel Mall in December.
The shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. December 18 at the mall in eastern Colorado Springs. When officers arrived, they found one victim inside the mall and another outside the mall. A third victim went to the hospital to seek treatment later that night. A fourth person, a teen girl, was not shot, but was considered a victim in the incident.
The suspect, a teen boy, was arrested Monday at a home in Colorado Springs. He has been booked into the Spring Creek juvenile detention center.
The suspect, whose name is not being released because he is a juvenile, is charged with four counts of attempted murder and two counts of assault.
