Shot fired near Walmart Neighborhood Market, no one hurt


COLORADO SPRINGS — A shot was fired in a personal robbery at the Walmart parking lot on 1725 N Union Boulevard, according to police.

Colorado Spring Police Department said the shot was fired around 2:45 Tuesday afternoon. According to officers, an elderly couple was loading their car with groceries when an unknown man, dressed in dark clothing, with his face covered demanded the keys to their car. The elderly couple apparently refused and the suspect fired a single shot into the rear bumper of the car then sped off.

The suspects car was described as a dark colored sedan.

No one was hurt and the suspect is on the run. There is no other description of the suspect.
