PUEBLO, Colo. — The search continues for a couple last seen in the Lake Pueblo State Park area Saturday.

Officials say 57-year-old Kimberlie Temple and 61-year-old Frank Montoya were last seen boating in a 1978 Stryker around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Temple’s brother reported her missing and park rangers began their search for the pair early Sunday around 1 a.m.

CPW officials say rangers stopped the initial search at 2 p.m. Sunday, and resumed searching at 9 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officials say a pickup and boat trailer presumed to belong to Montoya was found in the parking area at the south boat ramp.

No other law enforcement agencies have been involved in the search but CPW officials say if no trace of the pair is found, the Pueblo Sheriff’s Office and police department could take over the search as soon as Tuesday.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Temple and Montoya, contact Colorado State Patrol Dispatch at 719-544-2424.
