COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A robber stole two beers from a 7-Eleven and then pulled a knife on a clerk who confronted him early Monday morning, according to police.
It happened just before 2 a.m. at the store on Colorado Avenue at 15th Street. Police said the suspect entered the store, went straight to the beer cooler, broke the lock, opened the cooler, and took two 24-ounce cans of beer. As he walked toward the door, he pulled out a knife. When a clerk went to confront him, he threatened the clerk with the knife and left. He was last seen walking north on 15th Street.
Police said no one was injured in the robbery. The suspect has not been identified.
