Pueblo police need help identifying burglary suspect

PUEBLO, Colo. — Pueblo police need your helping identifying a man who caused damaged and broke into three separate washer and dryer vending machines at three different apartment complexes in Pueblo.

Police have linked the same suspect to all three incidents with the help of video surveillance.

The first incident happened on Wednesday, August 3 at the Vinewood Apartments. Police say the suspect broke the locks of the washer and dryer, stealing change and causing around $500 worth of damage.

The second incident happened on Sunday, August 7 in the 200 block of Mohawk Road. Police say the same suspect broke into four washers and dryers, stealing change and causing around $100 worth of damage.

The third incident happened on the same Sunday at the Abriendo Apartments. Police say the suspect stole money from three coin boxes and caused nearly $400 worth of damage in the process. Additionally, police say he damaged a camera and DVR system at the apartment complex.

Police say the suspect appears to be a white male around 25 to 35-years-old. He is around 5 feet 6 inches, weighing about 140 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a white visor hat during the crimes.
