Police: Trespassing suspect kicks out window of police car in attempt to escape

A woman is facing multiple charges after she broke the window of a police car in an attempt to escape Sunday night, according to police. 

Police said around 10 p.m., they went to an address in the area of Union Boulevard and Bijou Street to arrest a woman for trespassing after she refused to leave the property. While in the back of the cruiser, she slipped her handcuffs and then kicked out the back window, according to police. She reached through the window, opened the door from the outside, and was trying to escape when officers detained her. 

Police said no one was injured in the incident.
