Police arrested a suspect who allegedly stole around 50 customer credit card numbers while he worked at a Colorado Springs business over the summer.
Police say 36-year-old Zachariah Andrews used the credit cards online, particularly at Home Depot, in the summer and fall of this year.
Financial Crimes detectives searched his home in the 1800 block of Woodburn Street, located off Interstate 25 and Cheyenne Boulevard, where they recovered over 400 items worth more than $12,000 purchased with the stolen credit cards.
Authorities have returned all stolen items to Home Depot.
A warrant was issued for Andrews for 18 counts of identity theft. He was arrested on Monday, Dec. 18 without incident.
