PUEBLO, Colo. — Police are investigating after a Pueblo homeowner shot an intruder Thursday night.
Police said around 9 p.m. Thursday, they were called to the 200-block of Henkel Place to investigate a shooting. When they arrived, they learned that the homeowner had returned home to find a man in the house. A confrontation started, and the intruder was shot.
The intruder, a 31-year-old man, was hospitalized. As of Friday, he was in stable condition.
Police are trying to determine if the homeowner and the intruder knew each other.
