COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police are looking for the man they say was involved in an assault in November and a shoplifting incident earlier this week in Colorado Springs.
Police said Orlando Colangelo is a suspect in a November 2 assault at the Pine Creek Village Apartments on Chapman Drive in Colorado Springs. Police said the victim, a 31-year-old man, was assaulted by three people. The assailants used a bat, a knife, and a gun, according to police. They fired shots, but did not hit the victim.
Colangelo is also a suspect in a shoplifting incident Wednesday at the Sears on Southgate Road. In that incident, two men used a knife to threaten an employee. They tried to escape the store with several hundred dollars worth of merchandise, but when they realized the doors were locked, they shot out the glass and ran away, according to police
