Police are looking for the people who crashed a stolen minivan through the front entrance of a marijuana dispensary early Wednesday morning.

Police said the burglary happened around 1 a.m. at the Native Roots at Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway. The suspects drove a stolen minivan through the glass front door of the store, then went inside.

A Native Roots spokeswoman said the marijuana products were all locked in a safe, and the suspects only got away with a few t-shirts. She said they did cause “a good deal of damage” to the building.

The suspects left in a getaway car that was waiting in front of the store. An officer found the getaway car on nearby Rebecca Lane, but when he tried to pull it over, the driver hit his cruiser and sped away. The cruiser sustained minor damage.

Police said they have descriptions of the suspects, but they’re not releasing that information right now. Their investigation is ongoing.

The store hopes to reopen within the next few days.
