Police are looking for the suspect or suspects who broke into several Colorado Springs businesses early Friday morning.

Police said one of the burglaries happened at a business in the area of Eighth Street and Cheyenne Road. Around 3 a.m., officers patrolling the area noticed someone had shattered the glass front door, entered the business, and gone through the cash register and office area. 

A similar burglary happened around 3:20 a.m. at a business in the area of Union Boulevard and Briargate Boulevard. Police were notified by a burglary alarm. 

A third burglary happened around the same time at a business on Woodmen Road just west of Academy Boulevard. Police said the suspects smashed the front door, but did not enter the business. 

A fourth burglary happened around 3:40 a.m. in the area of Space Center Drive and Palmer Park Boulevard. Surveillance video showed four people entering the business and taking a cash register drawer.

Police said several other similar burglaries happened across the city and county Friday morning. They have not said if the burglaries are related.
