Police are looking for the people who robbed two eastern Colorado Springs businesses overnight.
Police said the first robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at an unspecified business in the area of Hancock Expressway and Jet Wing Drive. The robber pointed a handgun at the victim, then reached over the counter, then left the business, according to police.
The second robbery happened around 11:15 p.m. Saturday at the Diamond Shamrock at the intersection of Galley Road and Wooten Road. The robber pulled a gun and demanded cash from the register, according to police. He put the money into a backpack and ran away.
There’s no word on whether the two robberies were related.
