Police find meth, 10 pounds of marijuana in car with fictitious license plates

Officers found meth and more than 10 pounds of marijuana in a car they pulled over for displaying fictitious license plates Tuesday night, according to police. 

Officers pulled the car over around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the area of South Nevada Avenue and Arvada Street, which is just south of Interstate 25. The officers spotted evidence of drug possession and use inside the car, and detained the occupants. 

When police searched the car, they found meth and more than 10 pounds of marijuana, according to police. 

The occupants of the car, whose names have not been released, were arrested for offenses ranging from distribution and possession of narcotics to traffic-related offenses.
