One person arrested after northern Colorado Springs crash

One person is facing multiple charges after a crash in northern Colorado Springs Sunday afternoon, according to police. 

The rollover crash happened around 12:45 p.m. near the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Union Boulevard. Police said two people ran away from the crash, but one was still on the scene when officers arrived. That person was in possession of several boxes of unopened tools that had been stolen from a local home improvement store, according to police. The tools were valued at more than $1,000.

Police said the person was also in possession of meth. The suspect, whose name has not been released, was jailed on charges of drug possession and theft.
