Northeastern Colorado Springs convenience store robbed at gunpoint

Police are looking for the person who robbed a northeastern Colorado Springs convenience store at gunpoint Sunday morning. 

Police said the robbery happened just before 5 a.m. at the Kum and Go on Woodmen Road just west of Powers Boulevard. The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, stole cash from the register, according to police. 

Officers checked the area, but could not find the suspect.
