The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office makes third marijuana grow bust in eight days on Tuesday.
According to investigators, deputies raided a Pueblo West home where Ernesto Noceda-Cuba, 31, of Cuba, lived. Inside the home, the deputies found nearly 200 plants and 60 pounds of dried product. Authorities believe it was mostly headed for the black market out of state.
The search happened after getting a report of a possible illegal grow at the home.
In total, the street value of the grow was estimated at $312,000.
Noceda-Cuba was arrested for cultivation of marijuana. He was booked into Pueblo County Jail.
“We will continue to work in concert with our community to eradicate Black Market marijuana,” said Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk M. Taylor.
The Pueblo County Regional Building Department condemned the home due to extensive alterations to the home. Six large air conditioning units were active in the home, resulting in an overloaded electrical system.
