COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Four juveniles have been arrested and face multiple charges after a month-long investigation conducted by members of the CSPD Impact Team.

Police said the four juveniles were arrested in the Banning Lewis Ranch neighborhood on charges of burglary of motor vehicles and aggravated motor vehicle theft.

Officials focusing on the group said they were also involved in car theft and subsequent criminal activity that included break-ins, joyrides and causing crashes and leaving the scenes of those crashes, victimizing other people.

Additionally, firearms have also been tied to some of the juveniles in custody.

Police said some of the juveniles were runaways at the time of the crimes and others had warrants out of county juvenile court for their arrests.

Authorities have recovered three vehicles as a result of the ongoing investigation.
