Man pleads guilty in DUI crash that killed two on Old Stage Road

A man has pled guilty to vehicular homicide for a 2017 crash that killed two people on Old Stage Road.

The crash happened in March 2017. The Colorado State Patrol said Wyatt Beaman, 22, was driving a Jeep Cherokee when it went off the right side of the road and down a ravine, ejecting three of the people inside. Two of the passengers, 21-year-old Kelby Engleen and 22-year-old Jacob Busch, died in the crash. 

Beaman and the other two passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries. 

Beaman pled guilty Monday to two counts of vehicular homicide – DUI and two counts of vehicular assault – DUI. He will be sentenced September 4.
