A man has been arrested after he scammed several residents of a Fountain mobile home park, according to police.
Police said several residents of Riverside mobile home park received money to relocate due to environmental concerns. The suspect, 42-year-old Michael Lemay, told them he would help them relocate if they gave him the money. Once they realized they had been scammed, the victims called police immediately.
Lemay was arrested Monday and charged with theft.
Police are working to help the victims get their money back.
