Man arrested for Colorado Springs car theft, convenience store robbery

A man has been arrested in connection with a car theft and convenience store robbery that occurred earlier this week, according to police. 

Police said the car was stolen Monday, then used in a robbery that afternoon at the Kwikway store at North Union Boulevard and Vickers Drive.

On Thursday, police found the stolen car and arrested the suspect, 19-year-old Cruz Garcia. Police said Garcia was arrested wearing the same clothes and carrying the same gun as he used in the robbery. 

Garcia is charged with aggravated motor vehicle theft, aggravated robbery, and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
