Man accused of dealing drugs out of Colorado Springs shoe store

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A suspected gang member from Florida has been arrested after he was caught dealing drugs out of a Colorado Springs shoe store, according to police.

Police said they had evidence that Jose “Hit” Rosado III, 30, was dealing drugs from The Sneaker Plug, his business on East Boulder Street. Police searched Rosado’s home and the store on Wednesday. They found 13 guns, 47 marijuana plants, 77 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 60 grams of meth, 486 grams of cocaine, 129 grams of marijuana concentrate, about 10 pounds of processed marijuana, and about $3,000 in cash.

Rosado, a convicted felon, was arrested and will face federal drug and weapons charges. Police said he is a suspected member of the Latin King gang, and is originally from Miami.

Another suspect, 34-year-old Edgar Quiononez, was also arrested on drug charges during the investigation.
