K9 helps arrest fugitive who climbed out of window to elude police

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A K9 helped arrest a wanted fugitive who climbed out of a window in an attempt to elude police Thursday night.

Police said around 10:30 p.m., they went to a home on Lafayette Road to arrest a man who was wanted on multiple warrants. A woman answered the door and told the officers the man, Ronald Rhoades, was not in the home. She then stalled while Rhoades climbed out of a back window.
