Five suspects have been arrested in connection with a string of robberies across Colorado Springs.
Police said the same suspects robbed or tried to rob five businesses across Colorado Springs between July and November. The robberies were:
- July 22 at the Green Crest convenience store on Van Teylingen Drive
- September 10 at the Key Bank on South Academy Boulevard
- October 18 at the Academy Bank on Briargate Boulevard
- November 1 at the TCF Bank on Platte Avenue
The attempted robbery was September 24 at the Key Bank on South Academy Boulevard.
In at least three of the robberies, the suspects left in a stolen car.
Brainard Clark, 24, Kerrie Scott, 19, Chad Williams, 27, Jenaireo Wade, 36, and a 17-year-old boy have all been arrested in connection with the robberies. Charges against them include robbery, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
During their investigation, police seized $17,000 in cash, six guns, more than seven pounds of marijuana, hundreds of pills, and eight cars as evidence.
