A felony suspect was arrested after an hourslong standoff at a Cañon City home Friday morning, according to police.

Police said around 7:20 a.m., they went to a home on East Main Street to arrest 21-year-old Dakota Lee, who was wanted on a felony warrant. When Lee refused to come out of the home, police evacuated nearby residents and closed area streets as a safety precaution.

Officers de-escalated the situation and took Lee into custody just after 11 a.m. Police said no one was injured in the incident.

Lee was wanted on a warrant for multiple charges, including robbery, assault, menacing, false imprisonment, child abuse, criminal mischief, harassment, reckless endangerment, and domestic violence.

Police said more charges are pending.
