A woman has been arrested on DUI and other charges in connection with a crash that killed another driver in central Colorado Springs Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 5:15 a.m. on Maizeland Road at Wold Avenue, which is just east of Academy Boulevard. Police said a Nissan SUV was headed eastbound when it collided with a Cadillac that was trying to turn left from Wold Avenue onto westbound Maizeland Road.

The driver of the Cadillac, 41-year-old William Harrington, was extricated from his car and taken to the hospital, where he died.
