Deputies looking for two people who tried to break into northeastern Colorado Springs home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Deputies are asking for the public's help identifying two people who tried to break into a northeastern Colorado Springs home on Friday.

The attempted burglary happened just before 3 a.m. Friday at a home on Sapphire Drive, which is in the area of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Barnes Road. Deputies said two men tried to enter the home while a third person waited outside in an SUV. 

One of the suspects is described as a black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie, a tan mask, dark pants, and a red backpack. The second suspect is described as a light-skinned man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing all-black clothing and a mask. No description of the person in the SUV is available.

The SUV was a silver late-model small SUV, possibly a Honda CRV or similar.
