Deputies are investigating after two people were found dead in a southeastern El Paso County home early Saturday morning. 

The sheriff’s office said around 2 a.m., they were called to do a welfare check at a home on Hobby Horse Lane, which is in the Hanover area about 22 miles southeast of Fountain. When they arrived, they found two people dead.

The victims’ names have not yet been released. 

Deputies are investigating the case as a double homicide. They don’t have any suspect information and are urging the community to be vigilant.
