Deputies have identified the two people who were found dead in a southeastern El Paso County home early Saturday morning.
The sheriff’s office said around 2 a.m., they were called to do a welfare check at a home on Hobby Horse Lane, which is in the Hanover area about 22 miles southeast of Fountain. When they arrived, they found two people dead.
The victims have been identified as Larry Nelson, 72, and Pamela Nelson, 70.
Deputies are investigating the deaths as homicides. There is still no suspect information, and they’re urging the community to be vigilant.
