Deputies find illegal marijuana grow in Pueblo West home that was site of 2016 bust

Deputies found 56 illegal marijuana plants in a Pueblo West home Friday. Pueblo County Sheriff's Office

Deputies are trying to determine if an illegal marijuana grow found in a Pueblo West home Friday is related to one that was found in the same home in May 2016.

A citizen tip led deputies to the grow in the home on Dee Jay Court. Deputies searched the home and found 31 large marijuana plants in one room, along with evidence that plants growing in a second room had recently been harvested. They found 25 recently-harvested plants in trash bags in the basement.

Deputies said no arrests have been made.

They said the home, which did not appear to have anyone living in it, was also the site of an illegal marijuana grow bust in May 2016. Seven people were arrested during that bust.

Deputies are still trying to determine if the two grows are connected.
