Deputies bust illegal marijuana grow in eastern El Paso County


EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — Deputies seized about 150 marijuana plants from an illegal grow Thursday, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they found the grow on a property on South Calhan Highway about four miles north of Highway 94. In addition to the marijuana plants, they found processed marijuana, money, and guns on the property.

Deputies said arrests in the case are pending.
