CSPD requests public’s help identifying bank robber

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a bank robber suspect. 

According to investigators, a heavy-set white man, wearing glasses, entered the FirstBank near Vindicator Drive and Rockrimmon Blvd. around 10:45 a.m. on September 18.

The suspect proceeded to point a gun at the bank tellers demanding cash. He then left the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The suspect is described as being 35-45 years old, standing about 5-foot-9-inches tall, with a stocky build and broad shoulders. he may have had a shaved or bald head. 

He wore prescription glasses, a Denver Broncos cap, gray T-shirt, and dark pants. The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
