A grand jury indicted a Colorado Springs police officer for an April shooting, where no one was injured, on Wednesday.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, the grand jury voted unanimously to indict Gerald F. Bellow Jr. on one count of attempted first-degree assault and one count reckless endangerment.
The indictment stems from a shooting from April of this year at 5650 Milton Proby Parkway, near the Colorado Springs airport.
Officer Bellow has been employed by the Colorado Springs Police Department since January of 1991 and is currently assigned to the Colorado Springs Airport.— Springs Police (@CSPDPIO) July 18, 2018
