COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A man stabbed his neighbor during a dispute over a loud TV Sunday night, according to police.
Police said the incident happened just before 10 p.m. in an apartment building in the area of Kiowa Street and Wahsatch Avenue. The victim, James Mitchell, was upset with his downstairs neighbor, Kevin Riley, because of Riley’s loud TV. Mitchell grabbed a small wooden bat and knocked on Riley’s door. Witnesses told police Riley opened the door, grabbed Mitchell, and threw him onto the ground. Riley then stabbed Mitchell several times in the back and sides.
Mitchell was treated at the hospital and released. Riley was arrested.
