A woman is accused of trying to break into a home and then punching an officer who came to arrest her in central Colorado Springs Thursday evening, according to police.
Police said around 6 p.m., they were notified of a burglary in progress on Cascade Court, which is in the area of Cascade Avenue and Fillmore Street. The suspect, Christine Adams, had broken out windows in an attempt to enter the home, according to police.
