PUEBLO, Colo. — A Pueblo woman was arrested Sunday night, admitting she robbed a Pueblo bank Friday evening.

Pueblo police said they received a call around 10:50 p.m. on Sunday from 60-year-old Beverly Uhl, who indicated she wanted to turn herself in for robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on South Prairie.

Uhl is accused of robbing the bank a few minutes before closing time Friday. According to police, they were unable to locate Uhl, who made several threats and demands at the bank before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

After Uhl called police Sunday night, they confirmed that she was in fact the woman in the photos.

She was taken to the Pueblo County Detention Center on robbery charges and held without bond.
