Pueblo police are investigating after a man was killed and two others injured in a triple shooting on Sunday.
Police responded to a duplex home in the 900 block of Lake Avenue near E. Adams Avenue just after 6 a.m. According to police, the incident started as a domestic dispute over a noise violation. Authorities deescalated the situation and left the scene.
About one hour later, police returned to the same home in response to a report of a triple shooting. Authorities believe the shooting may have stemmed from a neighbor disturbance between those living on either side of the duplex.
Police say three men were shot. A 33-year-old man died at the scene, a 28-year-old man sustained what appears to be non-life threatening injuries, and a 29-year-old man sustained serious injuries and is in critical condition at this time.
Police say all of those involved in the shooting — including suspects and victims — are believed to be accounted for. There is no threat to the community at this time.
According to officials, several witnesses are being interviewed and a search warrant will be executed.
The investigation is ongoing.
