Two suspects believed to be involved in two armed robberies that happened in January were arrested on Wednesday.

Police say the two suspects, 19-year-old Robert Martinez and 18-year-old Phillip Garcia, allegedly entered Prairie Liquor near S. Prairie and Baystate Avenues in Pueblo, then went inside a Valero gas station near Hwy 50 West and E. Northern Avenue, where they robbed the clerks at gunpoint.

Police say they received information that helped in identifying the two suspects involved.

Garcia was arrested by El Paso County sheriff’s deputies.

Both suspects face aggravated robbery charges.
