Police arrested one person and cited two others in Memorial Park Wednesday around 5 p.m. as part of an ongoing effort to curb narcotics activity in the area.
According to police, officers working with the Metro Vice and Narcotics Detectives responded to the area as part of a recurring effort to rid the area of narcotics activity and alcohol violations.
At the scene, officers contacted multiple people and arrested 56-year-old Carroll Lillie for Possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance and DUI. Lillie was taken into custody.
Additionally, two other individuals were ticketed for Alcohol in Parks violations.
