(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said the grass fire was fully contained by Saturday evening on April 1.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to CSFD. The fire area was limited to the field, said CSFD.

CSFD is on scene of a grass fire Saturday evening on April 1.

Crews are responding to the grass fire located near Fountain and Aeroplaza. CSFD reported “50’x50’ fire spreading.”

The community is asked to watch for responding fire units in the area.
