Employees at Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota raised $15,000 for Angels of America’s Fallen and the Colorado National Guard Foundation as part of their Five Weeks of Giving campaign.

Of the money raised, $10,000 will support children coping with the loss of their parents by helping them pursue their passions in sports, STEM, music, and arts.

“We want to seem them engage in sports, music, or arts as a positive outlet for their grief,” Joe Lewis with Angels of America’s Fallen said. “This way, they get to invest in themselves through their practice. They get the mentoring and guidance of their coach or instructor, and they can really see self-improvement throughout their whole childhood.”

The remaining $5,000 will provide meals and gifts to Colorado National Guard families in need during this time of year.
